About a library card, please check the link below.<br \/>\n<a href=\"..\/joining\">Library Card<\/a><br \/>\n* [Undergraduates \/ Graduate Students] Student card serves as your library card.<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"borrowing\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"header-line\">Borrowing &amp; Returning<\/span><\/h3>\n<h4>Borrowing<\/h4>\n<p>When you have found the materials that you want to borrow, you can take them to the information desk or the self-service machine with your student card or library card.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/libraries\/19396\/#en\">Borrowing books by Postal service<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Returning<\/h4>\n<p>Materials must be returned by the due date to the library. Materials may be returned to any library in Kobe University.<\/p>\n<p class=\"flame\">#When the library is closed\u2026<br \/>\nIf the library is closed, drop the books into the \u201cBook Post\u201d (book drop). Book Post is set near the entrance of the library.<br \/>\n#When you damaged or lost books\u2026<br \/>\nPlease consult with staff at the information desk. Please check the library\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"renewing\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"header-line\">Renewing<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>You can renew your items before due date.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bringing the items with you to the information desk or the self-service machine, you can renew.<br \/>\nYou can renew your items in whichever library in Kobe University. <\/li>\n<li>You can renew also on the website. <br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/op.lib.kobe-u.ac.jp\/opac\/odr_stat\/?lang=1\" class=\"link-open\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Check of Status of Lending\/Reservation<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"flame\">\u2606Renewals will not be possible\u2026<br \/>\n\u30fbif you have overdue items<br \/>\n\u30fbif the item has been reserved<\/p>\n<p class=\"flame\">\u2606non-renewable items<br \/>\n\u30fbjournals, AV materials<br \/>\n\u30fbother specific items which each library doesn\u2019t permit to renew<br \/>\n\u30fbitems held in laboratory<br \/>\n\u3000Although faculty may permit you to renew the item, you must consult with  library staff in advance.\n<\/p>\n<p><a name=\"delivery\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"header-line\">Reservation \/ Campus Delivery Service<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The items owned by Kobe University Libraries can be reserved or delivered to every campus library you selected, from \u201cReserve\u201d icon in the holding record of OPAC. (Login required) <\/p>\n<p>Note<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When the book is already available at the library you selected for check out, this service cannot be used.<\/li>\n<li>Before the item you reserved is sent, it might be borrowed by someone who directly comes to the library.<\/li>\n<li>If other users have already reserved the item, you can receive it on a first-come and first-served basis.
