    \nYou can also get information about how to use these tools off-campus.<\/p>\n

    Purchasing books and journals with research fund<\/span><\/h3>\n

    Purchasing books<\/h4>\n

    To purchase books with research funds, submit a \u201cBook purchase request\u201d through the accounting service system[JPN]<\/a>.
    \nFor purchases made by corporate credit card or advance payment, submit an \u201cExpense reimbursement\u201d request through the accounting service system.
    \nPlease refer to     the \u201cBook purchase guide\u201d<\/a> for additional instructions and detailed information.\n<\/p>\n

    Subscribing to periodicals<\/h4>\n

    Subscriptions to overseas journals require a new order to be placed during the subscription survey (usually around the end of June each year).
    \nPlease check with     the library that supports your department<\/a> about subscribing to journals with research funds.\n<\/p>\n

    Materials located in individual research labs<\/span><\/h3>\n

    You can access information about materials located in your lab through the library account services<\/a>. A list of materials is displayed* under the \u201cLab books\u201d tab in the \u201cCheck of Status of Lending\/Reservation\u201d section, and can also be download as a text file.
    \n*Only materials registered in the collection finder will be displayed, and items such as supplies or materials not yet registered in the collection finder will not be displayed.
    \nIf you cannot find the material you are looking for in the \u201cLab books\u201d tab or the \u201cCheck of Status of Lending\/Reservation\u201d tab, please contact     the library that supports your department<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    Making your research outputs open to the public on the web<\/span><\/h3>\n

    You can make your research outputs like journal articles open to the public through Kobe University Repository “Kernel”.
    \nBy using Kernel, your research output will be delivered to all over the world through various channels including KUID (Directory of Researchers in Kobe University), CiNii, Worldcat and search engines like Google.
